Maybe you prefer one-on-one coaching or mentoring. I have both the experience and know-how to dive deep into the heart of your story or nonfiction writing and help you fashion it into the masterpiece you envision.

My coaching services vary in price based on the services you prefer. Here is a basic rundown:

All prices are US Dollars:
Private phone consultations (evenings) – $75 per hour
One hour of critiquing your first pages (roughly 10 pages): – $75
First 50 Pages Critique – $350
Manuscript Critique (1-199 pages) – $8.00 per page
Manuscript Critique (200+ pages) – $6.00 per page
Fiction or Nonfiction Synopsis Critique** (one page, single-spaced, includes reviewing up to 3 revisions) – $60
Query Letter Critique – $40
Proposal Critique for Fiction or Nonfiction (include your query letter, synopsis, and first three chapters of your manuscript double-spaced—no more than sixty pages) – $400

Maybe you want to start small.
To start out, you can pay for only one hour of my time to edit and/or critique the first pages of your book.

I’m also available for private consultations by the hour. If you’re brainstorming a project or need advice in any area, use the form below and set up an initial phone conversation. I charge $75 an hour, and we can set up other appointments as needed. For best results, have me critique your manuscript outline or a story summary first, and provide a list of concerns you’d like me to address.

FULL MANUSCRIPT CRITIQUING
Contact me and ask me what you can expect to see in a detailed full manuscript critique. Again, if you are not sure you would like a full manuscript critique, consider having just the first ten to fifty pages critiqued, to get a feel for what type of feedback you will receive.

QUERY LETTER AND PROPOSAL CRITIQUING
For years, I taught workshops at writers conferences on queries and proposals. As an acquisitions gatekeeper for a traditional publishing house, I listened to pitches and reviewed proposals all the time. I know what types of queries and proposals get attention, and I can help you craft these documents that are still very crucial toward landing a traditional publishing contract.

Let me help you realize your writing and publishing goals! Contact me using the form below, and I will respond promptly. I would love to hear from you and discuss options with you.

(**DISCLAIMER: I reserve the right to decline critiquing work based upon manuscript or proposal content or subject matter.)
